Privacy Policy

Zaid does not collect personal information. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or account credentials.

The app has no registration, no sign-in wall, and no user profiles. You are anonymous to us.

Everything the app remembers is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.

This includes language, theme, diacritics settings, insertion preferences, saved verses, recent search history, and your custom trigger command.

You can erase local data at any time from Settings > Clear Data.

The outside-app keyboard assistant requires Android's Accessibility Service permission so it can detect your trigger command while you type in another app.

The service reads text events only to detect that trigger. It does not log, record, or transmit what you type.

You can revoke this permission at any time through Android Settings > Accessibility > Zaid.

Zaid fetches Quran verse text from the public Quran.com API. Quran.com's own privacy policy governs how that service handles API requests.

No advertising networks, analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or social media trackers are embedded in the app.

The app includes Firebase Cloud Messaging infrastructure. At this time, push notifications are disabled, the token is not sent to any server, and you will not receive notifications from Zaid.

If notifications are enabled in a future version, this policy will be updated and permission will be requested first.

Clear all local data from Settings > Clear Data.

Revoke accessibility permission from Android Settings > Accessibility > Zaid.

Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data from your device. There is no account to delete because there is no account.
